Fraction Flags

I was on this site called fraction flags. It is a site where you have to create a flag in some fraction.You have to make the flags symmetrical. If you press finish and it does not work that means your your flag is not symmetrical so you have to  start again. Have fun playing your new favourite game. Here is a link to the site.

Country's

Today the whole of Glenbrae school  went around to different  class rooms. The classes have to present their work about the country they had been studying.They have some time to come up with ideas to talk to kids about and share it to other kids. We started at room 1 and finished at room nine. It was fun learning about other countries.

Alim

In week seven for ALIM we learnt to find other ways to solve problems like 5 + 5+5 that is the same 5x3=15.

ALIM

In week five for alim we learnt to add tow -digit numbers where the sum of the ones digit is less than ten.eg 34+23 is the same as 3 groups of lot 2 groups
of 10+=50 and 4+3=7 so 50+7=57.

In week four for ALIM I learnt to suptract by splithhing nupers into parts inseated of counting
on.eg 14-6 is the same as 14-4=10-2=8.

This week in ALIM we lernt to add by splitting numbers into parts inseated of counting on eg.8+6=? is the same as 8+2=10+4=14.
